Netbook reviews continue to flourish as advancements in fabrication technology resulted to better Atom processors. Nowadays, it is no longer surprising to see dual-core netbook Atom processors such as the N550 and the N570 that amazingly combines better processing power with energy-efficiency.

The first series of netbooks that saw market competition among popular brands is characterized by screen sizes of 9 or 10 inches sporting the N270 and later the N280 single-core processors introduced in 2008 and 2009, respectively. Suffering from the lack of sufficient graphics processing capability, the N450 and the N470 processors were introduced.
